If any of you haven’t seen the movie “Goodfellas” with Robert Deniro and Joe Pesci, you won’t know what I’m talking about and should probably take your ass to Blockbuster and rent the dvd. For those of you who do know, you’ll remember this painting by Joe Pesci’s character Tommy Devito’s mom (whose actually played by Martin Scorsese’s mother). Anyhow, our boys at FGW had the brilliant idea to make a t-shirt out of it…nice work fellas! Hell has frozen over…

By some bizarre circumstance, it actually snowed in Vegas this week. Normally during the winter seasons here, I’ll see occasional flakes and flurries every once in a while This year, there was an actual storm. Being from New York, I personally wouldn’t consider this storm as anything major but for the city of Las Vegas…it was a state of emergency. I don’t think 3-4 inches of snow is any reason to cancel school the next day especially when it’ll more than likely melt the next morning…but who am I to say? Anyhow, it was nice to see kids having snowball fights and sleding down hills. Even if it was for only a day.
