Last night the Redbull Thre3style DJ US Finals was held at Rain Nightclub in the Palms Hotel & Casino. For the past week, we’ve been giving away free tickets at the shop & people as far as New York & Miami flew into Las Vegas to attend this highly anticipated event.

Shout to my homegirl Sandy who was doin’ the damn thang on the gogo stages…get’em girl!

Got a chance to hang with my boy DJ Zimmie & the fam Leigh Feldman from Portland, OR.

Christyle from The Jabbawockeez came through rocking our KNYEW x THE HUNDREDS Team Snapback.

Last night’s winner DJ Big Once from Chicago came on strong with a well balanced set of turntabalism, high energy party rocking, quick button Dicer sampling & a confident swagger that captured the crowd & apparently the judges too

After his performance, Big Once spent the last 20 seconds of set to hand out tees to the wild mob at Rain

Next up after DJ Big Once was DJ Epps from Miami, looking pretty unimpressed & borderline annoyed…hahaha

DJ Epps started his set with a tribute to Heavy D who passed away on Weds. I was definitely happy to see one of the DJ’s from the battle show some love for the Overweight Lover.

The Redbull DJ booth has this cool setup where the audience can see the DJ’s mixing live on the turntables through a reflected mirror under the laptop support stand

The judges for the night were Skam Artist Management owner (aka my boss) Sujit Kundu, DJ Vice & Danny Masterson aka DJ MomJeans

Outside of working at KNYEW, our boy Mig dj’s & breakdances with his crew Knucklehead Zoo. Winning a bunch of b-boy competitions & even having their own show on Broadway in New York City, you can catch Mig & Knucklehead Zoo every first Friday at Insert Coins for they’re monthly “GFunk” party.

Closing out the night was my Skam Fam DJ Vice

Many thanks to Tony Cordasco from Redbull for lacing KNYEW with free tickets to their Thre3style DJ Finals & letting me run around the venue taking snapshots for the site. So glad we could have an event like this in Las Vegas…until next time Knyewtrons, Crooked signing out!
