Last Tuesday, one of our favorite local Las Vegas streetwear brands, Civilian, celebrated the release of their new Summer tees & tanks & opened the doors to their new location at 6460 S. Windy Road for a good ole’ fashion LV City Block Party. There was talk of Fuku Burgers & free Vitamin Water so I grabbed my camera & jetted straight over to Civilian HQ.

The designers circle…Tnes from the LV’s own HippoeEsthetics, David Duran (founder of Civilian) & the notorious Obey Jef, Twitter’s own “Verified Wizard”.

LV City’s finest…Obey Jef, world renowned turntablist & club rocker DJ Five aka Foodie Huxtable & local artist/KNYEW designer Brian De Leon.

Behind the scenes, local graffiti/tattoo artist Anthony Ortega put up this piece in the Civilian workshop.

Here’s some of Civilian‘s original screens from their workshop. You may recognize designs like “Rioting Rebels“, seen on tees & tanks all over Las Vegas.

Sharing the Civilian workshop is Marc Fresina from Weapons of Glass Destruction (WOGD) who gave everyone a demonstration on glassblowing.

Fuku Burger was in the vicinity, pumping out Pig Burgers & Chicken Katsu sammiches. Always a pleasure to get a purty smile with my Tamago Burger & fries.

Purty smiles to my right from the ladies reppin’ Civilian’s “Rioting Rebels” tank.

The purty smiles continued with the Vitamin Water Gals slangin free “Crack Water” to the thirsty lurkers at Civilian.

It’s ain’t a party if you ain’t got Serato! Heard a lot great 90′s hip-hop at Civilian that night. Wouldn’t have been mad at some 2 Chainz either…a lil Titty Boy never hurt nobody.
