This week’s entry for “Mixtape Mondays” is called “Live At Pure Nightclub” from DJ AM. Three years ago this week we lost one of the best DJ’s to ever rock the turntables. To honor him, I decided to post this newly released live mix he did at Pure Nightclub back in 2008. If you never got a chance to hear AM live then this is your chance to see why he was considered such a talented individual way ahead of his time. Many thanks to the late great DJ AM for providing us with this week’s mixtape entry. He may be gone but he will never be forgotten. I also have to big up the homie DJ Kevin Scott for releasing this first of 5 unreleased DJ AM mixes. Enjoy Knyewtrons…Neva!
