This week’s entry for “Mixtape Mondays” is called “The Rub Live @ Southpaw” by The Rub. What originally started out as a party in Brooklyn, The Rub evolved into a DJ crew consisting of DJ Ayres, DJ Eleven & Cosmo Baker. Last month The Rub held its last party at the place where it all started at…Southpaw. This Brooklyn bar that’s been hosting “The Rub” party for the past 10 years is closing its doors for good. But don’t worry, The Rub will continue at a new location called Bell House. Until then, you can enjoy this mix of hip hop & club classics recorded live at their final night at Southpaw.
