KNYEW Spring Lookbook | March 16th

Earlier this week we put together a lookbook for KNYEW’s Spring Collection being released this Friday, March 16th. I shot on location at UNLV, a perfect setting conceptually & visually for our collegiate influenced Spring line. Shout to our boy DJ D-Miles & KNYEW’s own Mig for spending the afternoon modeling & lurking on young co-eds. Neva & I are really excited to finally unveil our full collection to you Knyewtrons. Our girl Jaz will be posting detailed product pics tomorrow so stay tuned for more in-depth photos & info on our new line. Until then…Crooked signing out!

KNYEW Spring Collection

With the release of our new Spring Collection approaching this week, I wanted to give you Knyewtrons a lil’ sneak peek. It’s hard to explain the process from design to production but the word “tedious” pretty much sums it up. Here’s some flicks we took earlier this week…

We spent most of the day hovering over our store gremlin & designated mannequin, Mig, checking the print work & placement on all our tees. I nitpicked & over analyzed minor discrepancies while my partner Neva refuted my negative comments & calmly reassured me that “the shit looks fine son”.

Here’s our “Knyewtron Crest” baseball tee with 3/4 sleeves.

Our Thai version of Cosmo Kramer, DJ Five, swooped by the shop to pick up some gear & play Michael Kors to our degenerate Project Runway. We definitely value Five‘s fashion consultations & pay him appropriately in pork belly & noodles…no lie (real chat, true movie).

Here’s our “LV City” baseball tee with 3/4 sleeves.

In preparation for an upcoming photoshoot, I had to tell Mig to lose the beanie.

Switching over from the beanie to the National Starter snapback from HUF definitely complimented our “LV City” baseball tee. Burgundy is the new red this year (not really).

Our store manager & head bitch in charge, Jazmyn aka Mama Knyewtron, was hard at work, checking each baseball tee for printing & placement errors. DJ Five was just…chillin’.

“Hey Jaz, I think you missed one”…gee, thanks Five.

KNYEW Spring Collection

With KNYEW’s Spring Collection dropping next week, I wanted to share some pics of the printing process & give you Knyewtrons a sneak peek. Needless to say, we spent alot of time & energy perfecting the design work & making sure each piece of clothing was being produced at it’s absolute best quality. KNYEW Spring Collection

Next week on Friday, March 16th, we’ll be releasing our first Spring Capsule Collection. Since we opened KNYEW in 2007, Neva & I have always incorporated our New York roots into the shop, hence the name KNYEW…Keeping New York Every Where. Even though we’ve resided in Las Vegas collectively for over 6 years, we never represented this city appropriately in any of KNYEW’s original designs.  With our 5th Anniversary approaching this year in November, I wanted to change this. I wanted to embrace our designated home of Las Vegas & give it a name more fitting for KNYEW & our local following…LV City. LV City represents the city outside of the Las Vegas Strip. LV City represents the growing community that exists beyond the gambling & extravagant nightlife stereotyped in movies & television. There’s a cultural movement growing in this city & we want to actively fuel that progression & push LV City to the forefront. KNYEW Spring Collection

There isn’t a day at the shop when people aren’t asking us for new KNYEW tees. In the past, we’ve released a few t-shirts and tanks sporadically throughout the year but we’ve never put together an actual collection. Next month, on Friday, March 16th we’ll be releasing our first Spring Capsule Collection. This line will include t-shirts, baseball tees, raglan crewnecks & shorts as well. I originally planned on releasing this collection in February but it had to be pushed back a month due to screen printing delays. I’ll be posting more sneak peeks & previews of this upcoming collection in the next couple of weeks before the release. Stay tuned Knyewtrons…Crooked signing out!

Knyew Crest

My boy Paul from Grafik Impact came by the shop the other day to do a floor installation for our KNYEW “Crest” design. In the next month or so, we’ll be releasing a small collection of Spring tees & this floor decal is just a teaser for what’s to come in late February. Don’t sleep on that LV-City Knyewtron Gang shit…Crooked aka Korean Blow aka Coke Hane signing out!
